The project
Countless Word and web forms and email inquiries, confusing and slow processes in addition to an enormous flood of paper - this should be rectified as quickly as possible.
Swissgrid decided to tackle these problems together with innobit ag. It quickly became apparent that the best solution to meet Swissgrid's needs would be a webshop application.
Within the three-month project period, innobit built a customized service management solution that Swissgrid can expand and adapt independently as required. With the implemented solution, it is now possible for employees to request an IT service directly via a web form, similar to an online shopping experience.
The people involved are automatically notified by the background process so that they can give their approval if necessary. The status of the order can now be viewed by employees at any time.
Thanks to this solution, the throughput of employee inquiries has been increased and the duration reduced. Access to IT services is now centralized and perfectly integrated into existing software. Tracking and transaction security can also be ensured with the new solution.
