The project

Green modernized all PC workstations at the end of 2020. Every employee received a new infrastructure PC and laptop. The aim was to modernize communication, improve collaboration and increase efficiency. Green also introduced Microsoft Teams for digital communication. In addition, innobit ag contributed its expertise to the introduction of automated governance and life cycle management.

Interview with Mike Grütter - CTO at green

In January 2020, we were already in the process of developing governance and planning the digitalization and use of Microsoft TEAMS. We developed the governance concept with another company at the time. The next step was to implement it. The company suggested that we realize the implementation with products developed in-house. This did not correspond to our philosophy and our defined architecture principles. We then looked around for alternative providers. I contacted Michael Weiss from innobit ag because I knew that innobit was strongly represented on the market in the Sharepoint and collaboration sector. Mr. Weiss gave me good and competent advice. The project team then presented us with a proposal that covered a large part of our requirements.

The aim of the project was to ensure that we can use TEAMS in a standardized way, that we have control over how the teams are created and that we have the lifecycle under control.

Due to the Covid-19 situation, we modernized and digitized many areas earlier than planned. The innobit ag project team had a very pragmatic approach and were able to support us with good tips and suggestions for improvement. The team responded to our wishes at all times. We received further support through the workshops and employee training so that the onboarding went smoothly.

The biggest challenge was that we as a company had been working in a very traditional way up to that point. We didn't yet have a modern collaboration solution in place. Onboarding the team was the biggest challenge. At the same time, we replaced all the tools in the company. The entire team had to relearn many of the work steps. But innobit also helped us a lot here with workshops to make onboarding efficient and smooth.

In short: innobit ag has accompanied us professionally and competently into the modern, digital working world.
