In my last blog post , I discussed why LMS365 is an innovative eLearning solution. Now I will go into a little more detail about the benefits you can expect with eLearning. You should be aware that this is only a summary of the many positive aspects of an eLearning platform - when using it yourself, you can find new areas of application every day that are made easier by the integrated nature of LMS365.

1. you increase your productivity

Better training, more knowledge about products and services and the ability to acquire knowledge and support colleagues make employees more efficient, which ultimately benefits the business and the bottom line. Well-informed employees who actively contribute to the success of the business are more likely to remain loyal to the company and are more motivated.

Example
Let's take the example of an employee who has just joined the company. They normally undergo several training courses on products, internal guidelines and instructions on how to use internal tools, for example. Such courses can easily be set up in webinars and can subsequently be completed by new employees without any additional work for the course instructors.

2. you can provide content immediately

LMS365 centralizes training and data storage. It combines all learning materials in a standardized system so that an employer does not have to search through many different systems and files. In addition, the training is not completed in many different locations, but in one system, the eLearning system. The training can be carried out quickly and conveniently so that employees can acquire new knowledge and skills immediately.

Example
You want to set up a new training course for internal compliance and you know that training has already taken place in this area. You can now set up a new training course and reuse material that has already been used. This way you avoid doing the same work twice.

3. they are independent of time and place

Today, the majority of companies are geographically dispersed. The great advantage of an eLearning system is that you don't have to travel or come to a location specified by the company. Participants can access the eLearning system anytime and anywhere, whether they are at home, at another company location or on the road. No matter what time zone you are in, you can use the eLearning system anytime, anywhere.

Example
There are changes to your guidelines that are relevant to the GDPR. You need to provide the management with proof that all employees have been informed about the new guidelines and have passed the test. With an eLearning platform, you can now simply set up a webinar and add all employees to the training. You can also set a deadline for the webinar by which the employees must have completed the training. Using the report, you can now constantly see who has already completed the training and who you should follow up with. At the end, you create the report and send it to your management.

4. you standardize the quality of your training and automate your processes

Thanks to the stored scripts, videos and exam questions, every participant enjoys the same content without the instructors having to prepare and present the content anew each time. Courses can also be created automatically and assigned to the relevant employees.

Example
New employees should always complete the courses for using the internal tools. To do this, you create a webinar once and automatically add new employees to the training course using Microsoft Flow after they have created their user account. This ensures that all new employees receive the same training without any manual effort.

5. you save costs and increase your efficiency

As the above points already suggest, you can massively reduce administration costs by using an eLearning platform and at the same time increase the efficiency of your employees. Above all, users of eLearning platforms save time in the organization and can therefore respond better to the needs of the training participants.

Whether you want to organize training for your products, for the onboarding process or for compliance topics, an eLearning platform such as LMS365 could also support you. innobit will be happy to advise you on the development of an eLearning strategy and support you in the introduction of LMS365.
